MEMORY CARE

We live and breathe memory care and understand that memory care shouldn’t be one-size fits all. Most of the Vista communities offer research-based programs and trained dementia professionals at your service. We even have memory care communities that are dedicated to helping residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

“TStaff was amazing as they helped care for my mother on the Bella Vista Manor floor. They were so compassionate. Specifically, Kya, who exemplified what one would hope for a healthcare professional to represent. As our mom had to transition to hospice care, Kya sat and held my mom’s hand as we took care of matters. She offered hugs, kind words, and comfort in various manners too countless to specify.

Another amazing individual is Brandon, the activities aide, who sat with our mom in the evenings and read to her. She was there just a short time, but he made a point to come and say his goodbyes after she passed. It seems they had made a wonderful connection in her short stay. He, too, offered hugs and kind words of concern. We witnessed his work with others during our visits. He had no idea we were watching, and yet was so patient in helping residents with kindness and understanding.

Azhar, the dietary manager, kept our entire family sustained with food, beverages, and kindness, as well. She went above and beyond what she needed to do for us in caring for our mom as she passed.

Kathy and her crew won our hearts. We were blessed to have them care for our mother in the final weeks of her too short life.”
